Travel Registered Nurse Nurse Manager Job
Assistant Unit Manager – PACU/Pre-Op Leadership in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Location: Greenbrae, California, United States. Start date: April 13, 2026. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and a weekly pay range of $3,143 to $3,236. Shift is Monday through Friday with occasional weekend phone call coverage.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate perioperative services for Pre-Admission, Pre-Op, and PACU, aligning with unit leadership goals.
- Supervise nursing staff, mentor charge nurses and team members, and foster a collaborative, patient-centered care environment.
- Manage unit operations including staffing, scheduling, throughput, incident reporting, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to policies, patient safety standards, infection control measures, and regulatory requirements; support quality metrics and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow, resource use, and readiness for perioperative pathways.
Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license; BSN or higher
- 5+ years of PACU and/or Pre-Op experience; 2+ years of leadership experience (PACU leadership experience is a must)
- Ability to work in a PACU/Pre-Op leadership environment
- Start date alignment: able to start on or before April 13, 2026
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and provide clinical excellence in a perioperative setting
