Responsibilities
- Provide continuous airway management for assigned patients.
- Ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support.
- Collaborate with physicians; participate in CPR and all aspects of respiratory care.
- Operate and document care using equipment such as PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, Para Pac Transport Vent, as well as computerised charting and Pyxis medication management.
- Provide care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations; assist in physician consultations and patient-specific respiratory plans.
Requirements
- Hawaii State Respiratory Therapy License (by start date)
- BLS, PALS and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
- Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required prior to contract start (flu vaccination may be obtained during employee health clearance)
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for employee health appointment; Night shift availability (1830–0700) and three 12-hour shifts weekly
