Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in the birthing center, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
- Monitor maternal and fetal status; administer medications and IV therapies as ordered; document accurately
- Collaborate with obstetric team, respond to emergent situations per unit policy, and support patient and family education
- Maintain EPIC EMR documentation and ensure charting accuracy within the past two years
- Float to medical-surgical and ED units as needed to support patient care
- Adhere to AHA BLS and NRP guidelines; uphold infection control and safe patient handling
- Participate in holiday coverage: two of the four holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day)

Requirements
- Active Vermont RN license at time of submission
- AHA BLS and NRP certifications
- Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience (Labor, Delivery, Postpartum) with newborn care focus
- Experience in birthing center environments; labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to float to med-surg and ED units
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work 2 of the 4 specified holidays
