Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various nursing staff levels and coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Triage, assess, monitor and treat trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting.
- Administer medications and provide timely documentation, ensuring accurate communication with physicians and the care team.
- Maintain patient safety, advocate for patients and families, and participate in care planning and discharge coordination.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care during the shift.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights on a 3x12 schedule (12-hour shifts)
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Comfortable functioning in an ER/acute care environment with independent judgment and teamwork
