This travel ER nursing role involves delivering coordinated nursing care to patients of all ages, triage and treatment in a high-acuity, acute care setting, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care in the ER for trauma and medical emergencies per the nursing process
- Conduct triage, initial assessment, continuous monitoring, and timely reassessments
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments; manage equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with physicians, specialty teams, and case management to develop and implement care plans
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and support personnel
- Document patient status accurately, communicate with the care team, and provide patient and family education; uphold safety standards
Requirements
- NCI certification required
- Moderate Sedation Training required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity ER environment
- Willingness to work Nights and participate in a travel assignment
- Experience in emergency or acute care settings is desirable
