Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the operating room as part of the surgical team.
- Prepare the OR, ensure sterile technique, and assist with instrument handling and counts.
- Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative period, including during anesthesia.
- Assist surgeons and scrub personnel, manage supplies, and anticipate equipment needs.
- Maintain patient safety, position patients correctly, and document intraoperative events.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and support postoperative recovery planning as needed.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California.
- CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor per AH policy.
- Ability to work in an operating room environment and comply with perioperative standards.
- Start date available on or around 07/20/2026 and able to fulfill a 13-week assignment.
- Candidate must meet all client-specific credentialing and compliance requirements.
