Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to acquire cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, as assigned
- position patients and adjust equipment to optimize image quality while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- follow established protocols for radiation safety, hygiene, and infection control
- verify orders, document findings, and transfer images to the PACS/EMR for radiologist review
- collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other care team members to maintain efficient workflow
Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license (state of Oregon) or eligibility
- CT certification or documented CT imaging experience; ARRT CT certification preferred or eligible
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
- Relevant imaging experience with CT and general radiography; travel experience a plus
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced imaging environment
- Must be able to travel and meet assignment requirements for a 13-week assignment
