Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job
Registered Nurse – Oncology in Tillamook, OR. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting May 18, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,797 to $1,822, with 36 hours guaranteed per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts. Setting: Home Healthcare - Hospice. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitor for adverse effects, and manage symptom control.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and outside disciplines, using critical thinking and professional judgment to ensure continuity of care.
- Document care activities accurately, communicate changes in patient status to the care team, and maintain patient safety and dignity in all interactions.
Requirements
- Active RN license (state of Oregon preferred for this assignment)
- Oncology nursing experience or familiarity with hospice/home health care
- Ability to perform 12-hour night shifts and work in a home-based care setting
- Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and communication skills with patients and families
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN degree required)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
