Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group in Labor & Delivery per established standards and the nursing process
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document care activities accurately
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with obstetrics, anesthesia, neonatology, and support services to optimize patient outcomes
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in daily care
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and adherence to unit policies and quality standards
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure
- Experience in Labor & Delivery or obstetric care preferred
- Ability to work the 3x12 night shift schedule
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and work in a hospital setting
