Travel Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Job
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. Start date: 04/13/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $656-$696 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (0700–1930). Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Provides direct nursing care under the supervision of a licensed RN and assists with activities of daily living and routine tasks to support patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal nursing care under the direction of an RN, including assistance with daily living activities, nutrition, hydration, elimination, grooming, and comfort
- Take and document routine vital signs; report changes in patient condition to the RN promptly
- Assist with positioning devices, mobility, hygiene, and basic restorative care
- Support clinical workflows by performing routine tasks and appropriate clerical duties, including routing patient reports as needed
- Assist with basic clinical procedures within the scope of practice and RN guidance; document data for the care team
- Maintain unit organization and prioritize tasks to keep care delivery smooth and timely
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Previous hospital experience; ICU CNA experience is a big plus
- Education: High School diploma or GED required or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and to meet the responsibilities of a 12-hour day shift
Preferred and Optional Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Audiometry and vision training or CHDP certificate preferred
- Prior ICU CNA experience is advantageous
