Location benefits flow naturally here. Lodi’s community feel, accessible amenities, parks, and top-tier medical networks create a supportive backdrop for demanding CVICU work. You’ll find strong collaboration with physicians, therapists, case managers, and support staff, all focused on patient-centered outcomes. The role also presents the opportunity to take assignments across the U.S., broadening your professional horizons while staying rooted in California when you choose. In the CVICU, you will provide comprehensive critical care for postoperative cardiac surgery patients, managing invasive lines, hemodynamic monitoring, ventricular assist devices, ECMO considerations, medication administration, ventilation, sedation, pain control, and rapid response to clinical changes. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans, communicate effectively with families, and contribute to rounds, documentation, and quality improvement initiatives. The position offers clear pathways for professional advancement: mentorship from seasoned CVICU experts, opportunities to lead unit initiatives, pursue specialty certifications, and leverage continuing education resources designed to deepen your expertise and expand your scope of practice. In addition to the clinical experience, you’ll benefit from a package designed to support your success in every way.
Compensation and support are structured to reflect the value you bring. The weekly pay range is $2,165-$2,278, with a bonus opportunity, housing assistance, and potential extension opportunities to continue refining your CVICU skill set. You’ll have access to comprehensive 24/7 support while traveling with the company, including credentialing assistance, travel coordination, and a dedicated clinical support team ready to troubleshoot and assist at any hour.
