Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients across units as needed.
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, perform regular assessments, and document findings in EPIC EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the care team; communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
- Float to all med-surg areas as assigned; assist with admissions, discharges, and routine procedures.
- Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements; educate patients and families as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, ensure timely treatments, and support care coordination and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Active registered nurse (RN) license in Georgia or eligibility; Nursys license verification required.
- Minimum 2 years of med-surg RN experience.
- EPIC EMR experience is required.
- Ability to float to all med-surg areas; strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- No requested time off during the assignment (no RTO).
- Certification card on file as part of profile.
