Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents during night shifts under supervision of a charge nurse.
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration in the resident record.
- Monitor vital signs, observe changes in condition, and report findings to the supervising RN.
- Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and Transfers, while ensuring resident safety.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care, interventions, and observations.
- Follow infection control policies, safety protocols, and facility procedures; respond promptly to call lights; participate in care planning.
Requirements
- Availability to work a 3x12 night shift schedule.
- Willingness to travel and commit to a 12-week temporary assignment.
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, observation, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- May require basic certification in life support; specific licensure requirements aligned with state regulations.
