Travel Occupational Therapist Job
Occupational Therapist – outpatient rehabilitation travel assignment in Mammoth Lakes, California. Start date: 09/14/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,263–$2,328 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Days. Work setting: hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic delivering occupational therapy services.

Responsibilities
- Perform 1:1 patient care with a 45-minute appointment each hour
- Evaluate patients referred for occupational therapy and select appropriate tests based on diagnosis
- Develop measurable goals and functional outcomes with input from the physician, patient, and family as appropriate
- Create and implement a logical, patient-centered treatment program; reassess and revise the plan at minimum every 6 weeks
- Apply occupational therapy techniques and hand-therapy modalities appropriate to the diagnosis
- Document progress and generate timely reports to support ongoing physician follow-up and insurance authorization
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other departments to support patient goals
Requirements
- Current California license to practice Occupational Therapy
- Graduate of an accredited OT program
- Outpatient and hand-based therapy experience required
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, ancillary departments, and patients
- Eligible to work in a hospital-based outpatient setting in California
