This travel assignment is for a licensed practical nurse working in a long-term care environment. The role requires night shifts over 12 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and a pay range defined above.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of an RN, including medication administration per protocol and facility policy.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and condition, document findings, and escalate changes to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and comfort measures.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and routine skin and pressure injury prevention tasks.
- Support care planning, participate in handoffs, and maintain accurate documentation in resident records.
- Adhere to infection control, safety guidelines, and quality standards; respond to changes in residents’ conditions promptly.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license (New Mexico) or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state.
- Completion of an approved LPN educational program (diploma or certificate).
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts (18:00–06:30) and 12-hour shifts; available for a 12-week travel assignment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills; ability to follow physician orders and facility policies.
- Physical ability to perform essential nursing tasks in a long-term care setting.
