Travel Registered Nurse Endoscopy Job
Registered Nurse – Endoscopy in Rochester, NY for a travel temporary assignment starting 06/08/2026. This 13-week contract offers a weekly pay range of $2,459 to $2,558 with 8-hour shifts in a hospital setting. This travel role requires active New York RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years’ endoscopy experience, with on-call coverage for overnights and weekends. The assignment is a travel opportunity with non-guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Answer patient questions and address concerns during the peri-procedural period
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes; manage sedation during procedures
- Recover patients after endoscopy and GI procedures; monitor recovery from sedation
- Administer prescribed medications, IV drips, and sedation as directed
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures
- Assist doctors throughout procedures and with patient intake for GI procedures
- Complete all documentation, including patient notes and discharge instructions
- Maintain telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification as required
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy procedure experience
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification proficiency
- Conscious sedation competency
- Expert IV insertion capability
- Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia
- Experience performing intake for GI procedures
- Ability to work in a hospital setting on a travel assignment
