Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists and coordinate flow of equipment, supplies, and staff during surgical procedures.
- Ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care.
- Participate in patient care planning, assessment, and nursing treatment.
- Support the OR team with equipment setup, patient positioning, and sterile technique as required.
- Collaborate with circulating staff to maintain an efficient, safe perioperative environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California (or eligible to practice in California)
- Perioperative or OR nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
