Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery travel assignment in Aberdeen, Washington. This 13-week assignment starts 07/06/2026 with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $2,584 to $2,738. Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (1845-0715). Setting: hospital-based labor and delivery unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns in L&D, postpartum, and nursery areas.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as ordered, interpret monitoring, and respond to obstetric emergencies.
- Assist with labor and delivery procedures; support newborn care, including resuscitation as needed; scrub duties may be requested as an added bonus.
- Document care and daily progress in the patient record; maintain accurate charting and adherence to safety and infection control practices.
- Collaborate with obstetric, anesthesia, and neonatal teams; educate patients and families about care plans and postpartum expectations.
- Ensure compliance with unit policies and participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives; RTO requests must be approved and added to the end of the contract.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Washington (WA); multi-state licenses are accepted with verification: approved 6-hour suicide training and demographics verification from Nursys.
- BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required; STABLE training preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery settings required; Meditech knowledge is helpful but not required.
- Ability to work the listed night shift and travel assignment; ability to function effectively in a hospital environment.
