Responsibilities
- Support physical therapy treatment plans by assisting the supervising clinician with therapy sessions and activities.
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies; ensure safety and proper sanitation between sessions.
- Monitor patient responses during therapy and document progress in charting and communicate updates to the supervising clinician.
- Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility tasks as outlined in prescribed plans; support patient safety and comfort during interventions.
- Collaborate with the care team to maintain continuity of care and adhere to applicable policies and procedures.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds or meetings as required and contribute to plan adjustments under supervision.
Requirements
- CNA certification is REQUIRED (as specified in job notes).
- Active BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of Recreational Aide experience.
- Experience with MDS is essential.
