Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to patients in a corrections setting.
- Implement and adjust therapy plans, activities, and interventions focusing on activities of daily living, fine motor skills, and cognitive function.
- Assess patient progress and document outcomes, updating treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate records in patient charts and follow facility policies and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and provide patient and family education as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina COTA license or eligibility for licensure
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
- Ability to work in a corrections setting and comply with the assignment schedule
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 06/01/2026
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
