Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for a travel assignment in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting in Clovis, New Mexico. Specialty: Long-Term Care. Start date: 04/05/2026 for a 6-week contract. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision of an RN
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately
- Monitor resident status, perform routine assessments, and report changes promptly
- Support activities of daily living and basic nursing tasks (vital signs, I&O, wound care as applicable)
- Maintain accurate charting and documentation in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality resident care and infection control practices
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Diploma from an accredited LPN program
- Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour shift schedule and adapt to a 12-hour shift cadence
- Strong communication and documentation skills; team-oriented patient care approach
