Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date: 04/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days. This perioperative RN role occurs in a Critical Access Hospital and includes intraoperative patient care, patient advocacy, and supervision of assigned staff. The position requires regular on-call rotation for the Surgery Unit.

Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care during the intraoperative phase, acting as patient advocate and directing assigned personnel.
- Protect patients from injury, ensure correct site/side/level procedures, manage specimens, and prevent retained surgical items.
- Administer medications safely, maintain wound and tissue perfusion, and monitor systems including genitourinary, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, neurologic, and others as needed.
- Document nursing care accurately, communicate patient status across the continuum of care, and collaborate with other disciplines.
- Maintain patient privacy and rights, provide culturally competent care, and participate in required education for applicable programs (e.g., DNV education).
- Participate in on-call rotation for the Surgery Unit and be prepared to float to other departments when qualified, as required.

Requirements
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (RN). Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Licenses/ Certifications: Current RN license in Oregon; BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification, and TNCC required.
- Experience: None required; preferred: previous RN circulator experience, Peri-op 101 course, scrub experience.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (required). CNOR preferred; Peri-op 101; CRASE training preferred if travel extends beyond six months.
- Ability to work in perioperative/OR setting and practice within legal/ethical standards; strong collaboration and communication skills.
