Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — Travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start date: 05/26/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,453–$1,523 per week. Guaranteed hours: 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care to adult residents across units, under supervision of a registered nurse.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy; document administration accurately.
- Monitor patient status, vital signs, pain levels, and respond promptly to changes; communicate findings to the nursing team.
- Document care and observations in the PointClickCare electronic medical record; participate in handoffs and care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
- Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and fall prevention; support dementia, memory care, and ortho-related needs as appropriate.
- Float to all units within the building as needed; comply with infection control, safety, and privacy standards.
- Ensure a safe environment and responsive care, including routine assessments and coordination with the care plan for residents with multiple sclerosis (MS) and memory care requirements.
Requirements
- Active New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in long-term care or a similar setting
- Ability to work evenings (2:30 PM–10:30 PM) and every other weekend; ability to float to all units within the building
- Experience with or willingness to work with residents with MS, ortho needs, dementia, and memory care populations
- Proficiency with PointClickCare or willingness to learn
