Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Supervisor in Morrisville, Vermont. This 13-week travel assignment begins 04/06/2026, with 36 guaranteed hours per week on 8-hour days (with varied 5–8 hour shifts). Responsibilities
- Deliver age-specific direct patient care using the Nursing Process within departmental standards
- Assume unit leadership duties, including delegation of work to other staff levels
- Support daily unit flow and assist with staff scheduling and call-outs as needed
- Step into an assignment during high census or backfill gaps, including triage responsibilities
- Represent the ED at house-wide bed huddles and coordinate with hospital leadership as needed
- Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and nursing standards
Requirements
- At least 5 years of ED nursing experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to manage daily unit flow and assist with staffing issues, including call-outs
- Ability to step into an assignment during high census or backfill, including triage
- Represent unit in bed huddles and collaborate with cross-department teams
- Commitment to compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards
