Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel)
Seeking a travel RN with ER expertise for a 12-week assignment in a rural Wisconsin community. Start date: 06/29/2026. Weekly pay: $2,114 to $2,246. Guaranteed hours: 30 per week. Shift: 7:00 pm–7:00 am (3x12-hour nights). 0.9 FTE, 72 hours per bi-weekly pay period. Schedule includes two of three weekends on rotation and holiday rotation. Assignment setting: a rural Critical Access Hospital emergency department.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency department under physician or mid-level supervision
- Perform initial patient assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring; initiate appropriate treatment per protocols
- Administer medications and IV therapies; interpret monitoring data and lab results; initiate resuscitation as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate timely care and safe patient dispositions
- Document all patient encounters accurately and maintain compliant, evidence-based care plans
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and referrals when appropriate
Requirements
- Active RN license in Wisconsin
- Relevant experience in emergency department care or acute care setting
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am) with a two-out-of-three weekend rotation
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
- CPR/Basic Life Support certification at minimum
