Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in patient care decisions.
- Assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes; document accurately.
- Administer medications and therapies per orders; monitor patient status and respond to changes.
- Collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to update care plans and ensure safe, effective care.
Requirements
- Emergency Department nursing experience (ER) preferred
- Ability to work a varied 12-hour shift schedule
- Available for a 13-week contract
- Willingness to travel for a travel assignment
