Registered Nurse, Med Surg | Utica, New York | Start: October 5, 2026 | 14 weeks | $2,204-$2,317 per week | 36 guaranteed hours per week | Night shift (12-hour blocks, 2x3) in a hospital Med/Surg unit. This travel assignment requires flexibility to float to related units as needed and to support post‑operative care for adults on a busy surgical service.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients, including post-operative management
- Monitor patient status, perform ongoing assessments, interpret findings, and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and handle drains/tubes as directed
- Document care and clinical decisions in EPIC; communicate with the care team to coordinate interventions and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure safe, effective patient care; participate in rounds as assigned
- Support patient and family education, pain management, and safety measures; assist with mobility and respiratory therapies as indicated

Requirements
- Active New York RN license with Nursys verification
- Current BLS (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical experience; travel experience required
- EMR: EPIC experience
- Ability to work night shift and float to related units as needed
- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics
- RTO (time off) must be included at time of submission
- Up-to-date resume showing MS experience and travel assignments
- Local candidates may be considered at local rate (less than 75 miles)
