Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized OT treatment plans.
- Implement therapy to improve activities of daily living, mobility, coordination, and cognitive-function skills.
- Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and document outcomes in patient records.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize rehabilitation goals.
- Provide education to patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and ongoing recovery strategies.
- Ensure adherence to safety, documentation, and regulatory standards within a skilled nursing setting.
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license in good standing in the United States or eligibility for licensure in New Hampshire.
- Ability to work a travel assignment and meet the 35-hour guaranteed weekly requirement.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform standard OT assessments and interventions in a skilled nursing environment.
- Availability to start on or around the specified start date and participate in the 13-week contract.
