Echo Tech | Radiology – Echo Specialty | Glenwood Springs, Colorado | Start: 04/14/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | 40 guaranteed hours per week | Shift: 5x8 rotating with evening/night/weekend call rotation | Travel assignment in inpatient and outpatient care settings with exposure to ER and cath lab environments.

Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography (TTE/TEE) with attention to quality imaging and patient safety
- Utilize contrast agents (Optison/Definity) and conduct bubble studies; perform exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography as appropriate
- Operate and optimize a range of ultrasound systems including Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin
- Document findings in the designated electronic medical records (EMR) systems: Athena, Meditech, and PICOM
- Communicate results clearly to the care team; participate in daily rounds and handoffs; support a collaborative, patient-centered environment
- Maintain accreditation standards, and adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and call coverage requirements
Requirements
- Active RDCS (Echo) certification
- BLS certification
- Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted)
- Proficiency in TTE, TEE, contrast-enhanced studies, bubble studies, and stress echo (exercise and dobutamine)
- Experience with EMR systems: Athena, Meditech, PICOM
- Ability to work across inpatient and outpatient care settings and participate in rotating evening/night/weekend call; strong communication and teamwork skills
