Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment to plan and adjust patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity across shifts.
- Document patient status, respond to clinical changes, and communicate effectively with the patient’s circle of care.
Requirements
- Ability to deliver nursing care according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to apply critical thinking to patient care decisions.
- Experience supervising and directing the activities of nursing staff or care teams.
- Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members in a home healthcare setting.
- Availability to cover night shifts in a travel assignment with the specified duration.
