Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group therapeutic interventions for individuals in a corrections/inpatient setting
- Conduct assessments, develop and monitor treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with policy and privacy regulations
- Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nursing, psychiatry, case management, and security staff to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate, timely records and ensure compliance with facility procedures and regulatory standards
- Participate in case conferences, discharge planning, and ongoing quality improvement activities
Requirements
- Active license as a Licensed Behavioral Therapist in Alabama
- Ability to work in an inpatient correctional setting
- Availability for a 40-hour work week on a 9:00 AM–5:30 PM schedule
- Willingness to travel for a travel assignment
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
