Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient status; report changes to supervising staff promptly.
- Assist with basic patient care tasks and support routine clinic activities as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment; follow infection prevention and safety protocols.
- Document care and observations accurately in the patient record using the facility’s charting system.
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team to support patient well-being and recovery.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification/licensure as required by state regulations.
- Ability to perform standard CNA duties in an outpatient setting.
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment and comply with the schedule.
- Availability to work the 5x8 days shift, including every-other-weekend requirement.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to document care clearly in the EMR.
- Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility as needed.
