Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) needed for an inpatient rehabilitation assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Travel - temporary assignment starting 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Work five 8.5-hour days, typically 08:00–16:30. The role focuses on inpatient rehab within a skilled nursing care environment, delivering patient-centered therapy services and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to adult patients in inpatient rehab, including evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
- Implement evidence-based activities to improve ADLs, mobility, and functional independence; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Document patient assessments, progress notes, and discharge planning in the medical record; communicate findings with the OT supervisor and rehab team.
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and patient education; collaborate with nursing and other therapy disciplines to optimize care.
- Support care transitions through discharge planning and home exercise program instruction; ensure regulatory and documentation standards are met.
Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
- Ability to work in an inpatient rehab setting with adult patients.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
- Availability for a 13-week assignment starting 08/03/2026 and willingness to work the scheduled shift (08:00–16:30, five days per week).
- Eligible to participate in a travel assignment and work in the United States.
