Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
WY - LPN - LTC - NIGHTS is a travel licensed practical nurse assignment in a long-term care unit located in Cody, Wyoming. Start date 05/04/2026 for a 13-week engagement with guaranteed 40 hours per week on a 3x12 night shift (6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.). This role takes place in a surgery center setting with two floors; LTC duties may require floating between floors. PointClick EMR is used for documentation. Requires a current LPN license, BLS certification, and 2 years of recent LTC experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to LTC residents according to the plan of care and physician orders
- Administer medications and treatments, including PRNs, and monitor for adverse effects
- Monitor resident status, perform routine assessments, and report changes to the care team
- Assist with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
- Document care and interventions in PointClick EMR; communicate with the interdisciplinary team
- Support admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed; respond to clinical emergencies
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Wyoming (or current licensure recognized for practice in Wyoming)
- Minimum 2 years of recent LTC experience
- BLS certification
- Proficiency with PointClick EMR or ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts (6 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.) and float between two floors
- Education: Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
- Travel eligibility: Must meet the 100-mile radius policy (no perm address within 100 miles of the facility)
