Responsibilities
- Provide general nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Medical Doctor according to established policy and the nursing process
- Conduct routine visits and participate in the development and implementation of an interdisciplinary plan of care
- Administer medications and perform clinical procedures (e.g., phlebotomy, injections, drug screens) as assigned
- Support patient and family teaching, discharge planning, and caregiver education in collaboration with the care team
- Order and restock supplies as needed; maintain neatness and safety in assigned areas
- Perform other related duties as assigned; on-call duties may be required per agency needs

Requirements
- Licensure: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of practice (California) or equivalent, as required
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Additional: Ability to work in a short-term acute care hospital setting; arrhythmia certification preferred; valid driver’s license preferred
