Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse - PCU travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 08/02/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: 1,665–1,776 USD per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Nights, 2x3 schedule. Setting: hospital-based neuro progressive care unit, servicing neuro and step-down patients on a travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for neuro/PCU patients, including neurological assessments and NIHSS monitoring.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and monitoring of hemodynamics and telemetry as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC electronic medical record, including assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes.
- Monitor for changes in condition, respond to emergencies, and ensure patient safety and comfort through effective care coordination.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning to support transitions of care.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia (in good standing)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in neuro, PCU, or related step-down specialty
- Neuro step-down experience required; NIHSS certification/documentation must be included in CV packet to be considered
- Strong Med/Surg background with NIHSS and ACLS accepted as an alternative path
- EPIC EMR experience required; please note on profile
- Ability to work nights in a 2x3 schedule and to fulfill a 13-week travel assignment
- Education: RN degree from an accredited nursing program
