Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT, including assessment, treatment planning, and progression of interventions.
- Implement and adjust PT treatment plans to address functional goals for inpatients in an LTAC-oriented setting.
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Assist with patient education on mobility, strength, balance, and safety to support discharge planning and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety during therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with facility policies and professional standards.

Requirements
- Current North Carolina Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
- Experience in an LTAC or inpatient rehabilitation environment preferred
- Ability to work in a corrections setting and follow facility policies and procedures
- CPR/BLS certification recommended or required by facility policy
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment and related scheduling
