Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start May 18, 2026 for 8 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Night shift, 12-hour shifts (2x3 nights). You’ll provide care on a hospital med-surg unit serving adult and older adult patients in a 32-bed setting, including trauma cases and administration of acute medications. Weekly pay ranges from $1,538 to $1,637.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and older adult med-surg patients on a 32-bed unit
- Administer medications per orders, including heparin drips and other acute meds; monitor for adverse effects
- Monitor patient status with ongoing assessments; manage telemetry per unit protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case management to implement and adjust care plans
- Document care promptly and accurately in the medical record; complete med/telemetry checklists and handoffs
- Maintain patient safety; respond to clinical changes; adhere to BLS/ACLS protocols
Requirements
- Active RN license (current and in good standing)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Documented med/surgical telemetry experience with adult/older adult population
- Ability to work night shift and meet guaranteed hours
- Experience caring for trauma patients and administering anticoagulants and acute medications a plus
- NICHE training a plus
