- Communicate clearly with physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff; participate in handoffs and care planning.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and adherence to policies to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Document care activities accurately in the medical record and advocate for patient needs throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license; state of California required (or eligibility to practice in the assignment location) in good standing.
- Emergency department nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts (12-hour nights) and meet the demands of a fast-paced ER environment.
- Eligible for a travel assignment starting 10/26/2026 and able to commit to 13 contract weeks.
- Current health clearance and required immunizations as per assignment policy.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification; additional certifications as applicable to ER practice recommended.
