Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
ER Registered Nurse opportunity in a hospital setting in Philadelphia, PA. Start date 07/20/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $784 to $817. Shift coverage includes Day/Mid Rotation with a 7:00 AM–11:00 PM window; the program will consider any shift. This is a travel - temporary assignment requiring a BSN and prior contract/travel experience. Local and travel candidates are both considered for the same bill rate. A return-to-operations requirement (RTO) will be considered but you must be able to work 3 shifts across the full 13 weeks. Every other weekend (EOW) is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring of patients with a wide range of acute conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols; monitor patient responses and adjust care as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, transport teams, case management, and ancillary staff to ensure safe patient flow, accurate documentation, and timely dispositions
- Maintain thorough, precise, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record; communicate changes in patient status to the care team
- Respond to emergencies, support resuscitation efforts, and implement life-saving measures within scope of practice and facility policies
- Uphold patient safety, infection control, and privacy standards; educate patients and families as appropriate
Requirements
- BSN required
- 2+ years of ER nursing experience
- Prior contract or travel nursing experience
- Availability to commit to 3 shifts per week across the full 13-week assignment; Day/Mid Rotation schedule; EOW required
- RTO requests will be considered but must be able to complete all 13 weeks with the requested shifts
- Eligibility to work in the United States in a healthcare role; active licensure not specified in notes (standard licensure applies, but please verify during the hiring process)
