Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) in Atlanta, GA, United States. Travel assignment begins 06/15/2026 and runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: Night, 2x3 Nights. Setting: hospital-based ED with a very busy level 1 trauma environment; float to med/surg, stepdown, or ICU may be required. Weekly pay range: $1,591–$1,680.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care for a high-volume ED, focusing on stabilization, rapid assessment, and triage of patients, including boarders.
- Administer medications, perform ED-specific procedures, monitor patient status, and document findings in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and ancillary teams to optimize patient flow and outcomes.
- Float to adjacent units (medical/surgical, step-down, or ICU) as needed while maintaining safety and adherence to trauma protocols.
- Uphold infection control standards, patient safety, and regulatory compliance; participate in handoffs and performance improvement activities.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the United States (state license as required for assignment)
- Minimum 2 years of ER/ED experience in a Level 1 trauma facility
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC
- Ability to work night shifts and float to other units; strong critical thinking, communication, and documentation skills; EMR experience
