Registered Nurse – PCU (Travel) in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,296–$2,359 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift pattern is 2x3 Days in an IMCU/PCU-level unit within a hospital-like setting. This assignment requires 2 years of PCU/IMCU nursing experience, an active Georgia RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and the ability to manage mixed acuity patients on a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in the PCU/IMCU, including those with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, CKD, encephalopathy, and related conditions.
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders, including heparin drips and other IV therapies, while monitoring for adverse reactions and complications.
- Monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, oxygenation, and ventilator support as applicable; perform ongoing patient assessments and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust the plan of care; document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control, pain management, fall prevention, and discharge planning practices.
- Manage unit operations to maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio; assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.

Requirements
- Active Georgia RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMCU or equivalent acute care experience
- Graduate of an approved registered nursing program
- Ability to work in an IMCU/PCU setting with a 1:4 patient ratio and in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for ASAP start
