Physical Therapist needed for a travel assignment in Clearlake, California. Specialty: Physical Therapy. Start date: 06/15/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,454-$2,490 per week. Responsibilities
- Administer APTA-standard physical therapy treatments for disabilities, injuries, and diseases to relieve pain, restore motor function, and maintain optimal performance.
- Assess patients, establish PT goals, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Implement therapeutic exercise programs, manual therapy, gait training, and modality use within scope and facility protocols.
- Document assessments, interventions, progress notes, and outcomes in patient records per regulatory and facility standards.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy, adjust plans as needed, and communicate progress with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure safety, infection control, and compliance with APTA guidelines and applicable laws.
Requirements
- Current physical therapy license to practice in California (or eligible to obtain licensure).
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred).
- CPR/BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of clinical PT experience preferred, with inpatient/acute care exposure.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced, inpatient setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
