Overview
Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Tele) travel assignment in a short-term acute care setting for an RN with telemetry expertise. Location: Olathe, Kansas, United States. Start date: 08/30/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,000 to $2,095 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour Nights. This travel position requires RN licensure in Kansas and supports a temporary placement in a fast-paced cardiac care environment.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms; respond to arrhythmias per unit protocols
- Administer prescribed cardiac medications and monitor effects, including drips (e.g., Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem) and initiate Tikosyn/Sotalol as ordered
- Assist with TR Band management after procedures and provide post-procedure patient care
- Document patient data accurately in EPIC; collaborate with cardiology and nursing teams to coordinate care
- Float to all acute care units as needed while maintaining patient safety and quality standards
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge planning when appropriate

Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience; 2-5 years preferred
- Experience with cardiac medications/infusions (Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem) and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation
- EPIC EMR experience or ability to learn quickly
- Ability to float to all acute care units and work 12-hour night shifts

Education
- RN licensure in Kansas; education level defined as RN by a currently licensed program
