Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Travel) in Hermiston, OR. Start date 04/13/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay $2,080–$2,223 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days. Setting: Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures in the medical-surgical unit
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond quickly to changes in condition or treatment response
- Initiate the computerized Plan of Care on admission and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care; document accurately and timely
- Support discharge planning and patient education; participate in required education for applicable programs
- May be floated to other departments where qualified to perform patient care duties as needed
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN/MSN preferred
- Licenses/ Certifications: Current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Certifications: Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) preferred
- Experience: Previous Medical-Surgical nursing preferred
- Additional: CRASE training preferred; if travel assignment extends beyond 6 months, CRASE training will be required
- Competencies: Ability to work independently and as part of a team; uphold patient confidentiality and demonstrate empathy and effective communication with patients and staff
