Registered Nurse – OR (Travel) in York, Maine, United States. Start date 04/20/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,200–$2,262 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for orthopedic surgical cases, including circulating and scrub roles as needed
- Prepare the operating room, ensure sterile technique, and maintain instrument and equipment readiness
- Assist anesthesia team and surgeons; verify patient identity, consent, and positioning; manage intraoperative monitoring
- Monitor patient status during procedures, document events, and communicate changes to the team
- Postoperative handoff and documentation; ensure safe patient recovery and room turnover for subsequent cases
Requirements
- Current RN license (active) and ability to practice in the appropriate regulatory jurisdictions
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- OR experience, with strong orthopedic specialization; 5 years of OR experience preferred
- Both circulating and scrub capabilities preferred
- Ability to work a 4x9-hour shift pattern with on-call requirements; willingness to travel to York, ME for the assignment
- Nursing degree from an accredited program (RN)
