Responsibilities
- Perform a range of nuclear medicine studies, including stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic), V/Q, hepatobiliary, thyroid/parathyroid, bone, GI, renal imaging, and sentinel node procedures; complete I-131 non-therapeutic therapies when indicated
- Prepare patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and operate gamma cameras and related imaging equipment ensuring patient and staff safety
- Place and process procedures within the department’s protocols; collaborate with physicians to interpret results and communicate findings
- Document examinations and results in the EPIC charting system; maintain accurate patient records and image storage
- Participate in daily department operations, including QC/QA procedures, equipment checks, and light housekeeping tasks as needed
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and hospital policies; adhere to age-specific patient care for adults and geriatrics

Requirements
- Licensure: Pending state license accepted; valid SSN and DOB required at submission; references preferred/required per unit
- Certifications: Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist (RT(N)) or CNMT; ARRT (R), NMTCB; BLS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years nuclear medicine experience; community hospital experience required
- Education: Not specified in posting
- Additional: EPIC charting experience; ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); fit testing and standards apply; no medical marijuana cards accepted
