Role responsibilities and benefits:
- Deliver high-quality mental health services through individual and group counseling, crisis assessment, and trauma-informed care, applying evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and family systems approaches tailored to each client’s culture and needs.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, create and monitor individualized treatment plans, document progress accurately, and coordinate care with psychiatrists, social workers, school personnel, and community organizations to ensure integrated support.
- Support clients across diverse ages and backgrounds, facilitating skill-building groups, psychoeducation sessions, relapse-prevention planning, and resilience training to promote long-term wellness and independence.
- Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements, charting standards, and quality improvement initiatives, while participating in regular supervision, case reviews, and ongoing professional development to deepen expertise within the Mental Health Counselor specialty.
