Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) travel assignment in Tillamook, Oregon. Start date May 18, 2026 for 13 weeks. Work schedule is three 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week). Weekly pay range is $1,735–$1,849. This ICU assignment takes place in a rural, critical access setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and timely intervention.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; monitor invasive devices, ventilator status, hemodynamics, labs, and patient response; adjust care plans per physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams; perform accurate handoffs at shift changes; document care in the electronic health record.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort through infection control, turning and positioning, airway management, and timely response to emergencies.
- Educate patients and families, address questions, and support care coordination for transfer or discharge planning when appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with unit policies and regulatory standards; participate in rounds and quality improvement activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (Oregon) or equivalent state license as applicable
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Minimum 3 years ICU experience within the last 3 months in the submitted unit specialty
- BSN degree preferred
- Ability to work night shifts in an ICU setting and meet assignment requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
