Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU, Utica, New York. Travel assignment commencing 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks in a hospital ICU unit. Weekly pay ranges from $2,260 to $2,452 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights. Unit supports Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma patients in a 42-bed ICU. This role requires ICU travel experience and offers floating to supported units as needed.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for ICU patients, including neuro/med, CTICU, and trauma populations; monitor hemodynamics, ventilator management, and critical care needs.
- Perform support for CRRT (Prismaflex) and other advanced ICU therapies; respond promptly to clinical changes and implement physician orders.
- Administer medications, manage lines and tubes, document care in the EMR, and participate in daily rounds with the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with physicians, bedside nurses, pharmacists, and therapists to develop and adjust patient care plans; provide accurate handoffs during shift changes.
- Float to related ICU units as needed; maintain standards for infection control, patient safety, and family communication.
- Ensure equipment readiness, proper documentation, and adherence to unit policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Active New York RN license with NURSYS verification; all active RN licenses required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU)
- Travel experience required with 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN references; EPIC EMR experience
- RTO (time off) request must be included at submission; valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
- Up-to-date resume demonstrating ICU travel and clinical experience
- Ability to float to other ICU units as needed; strong heart care experience is highly preferred
